Call for Papers and Presentations – Center SET

The SET Chile Center invites researchers, academics, professionals, graduate students, and stakeholders involved in the field of sustainable energy transition to submit papers and presentations for evaluation, selection, and publication, as part of the outreach activities associated with the First World Congress on Energy Transition.

Review Process

All submitted papers will undergo an initial review by the scientific-technological committee to verify their relevance to the objectives, thematic areas, and scope of the congress. Papers that meet the established criteria may be forwarded for academic, technical, and/or peer review, as applicable, before a decision is made regarding acceptance, requested revisions, or rejection.

Author Responsibilities

Prior to submission, authors are responsible for ensuring that:

  • The submitted work is original
  • Authorization has been obtained to use any material included in the paper, such as images, photographs, graphics, documents, databases, or other supporting materials.
  • All individuals identified as authors have given their consent to be listed as such

Where applicable, the submission of research must have the approval of an ethics committee or equivalent body, in accordance with applicable legal, institutional, or academic requirements.

Quality Standards

The scientific-technological committee may reject papers that do not meet minimum standards of quality, thematic relevance, academic structure, or clarity of argument. Authors are therefore encouraged to ensure that the study design, methodology, results, and discussion are clearly and coherently articulated. Likewise, the title should be clear and concise, and the abstract should independently convey the paper's purpose, approach, and main contributions.

Once authors confirm that their submission meets these general criteria, they should review the following checklist before completing their application.
