Focus and Scope

RIMCEO (Journal of Maintenance Engineering, Reliability and Operational Excellence) publishes original articles of scientific, technological, and applied research in areas related to engineering, industrial management, and digital transformation.

The journal aims to promote the exchange of technical and scientific knowledge among academia, industry, and professionals in the productive sector, contributing to the development of innovative and sustainable solutions for modern industry.

 

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to RIMCEO undergo a double-blind peer review process:

Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two external reviewers with expertise in the relevant thematic area.

The authors' identities remain hidden from the reviewers, and the reviewers' identities remain confidential from the authors.

Reviewers provide technical and scientific recommendations regarding the quality, originality, relevance, and contribution of the work.

Based on the review reports, the Editorial Committee makes the final decision: acceptance, acceptance with revisions, resubmission for re-evaluation, or rejection.

The journal promotes transparent, ethical review processes aimed at improving the scientific quality of publications.

 

Open Access Policy

RIMCEO is an open access journal. All published articles are freely available to readers in any country, with no subscription fees or access restrictions. The journal does not charge submission, processing, or article publication fees (APC).

RIMCEO upholds the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), promoting free, permanent, and universal access to scientific and technological knowledge.

 

Anti-Plagiarism and Similarity Detection Policy

All submitted manuscripts are screened using similarity and plagiarism detection tools prior to the start of the peer review process. Manuscripts will be rejected if they present:

Partial or total plagiarism.
Significant self-plagiarism.
Redundant publication.
Manipulation of data or images.
Practices contrary to scientific ethics.

The journal promotes academic and scientific integrity at all stages of the editorial process.

 

Ethics and Good Editorial Practices Statement

Author Responsibilities

In confirmed cases of scientific misconduct, the journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions of published articles.
