Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts to the SCIENTIA. Series A: Mathematical Science.

It is a condition of publication that manuscripts submitted to this journal have not been published and will not be published elsewhere. Manuscripts submitted for publication should be sent in duplicate to the Managing Editor or to any member of the Editorial Board whose field of interest is closest to that of the paper.

Submitted manuscripts should include a title, author’s name(s) and full address (along with e-mail if applicable), an abstract of less than 200 words, and 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification codes. No footnotes will be allowed in the final manuscript.

The authors are encouraged to prepare their manuscripts making use of any of standard TeX packages. They will be asked to e-mail the final version of the paper to [email protected] upon acceptance.

If you have figures please send them in PostScript (.ps or .eps) format. Please make one figure per file with no caption and entitle the files fig1.ps, fig2.bmp, etc. so we can easily identify the correct figure numbers. No page charges are levied on authors or their institutions.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Articles

Electronic submission is encouraged by e-mail to: [email protected]. It may not be possible to return the manuscript in the case of revision or rejection; authors are advised to retain a copy of any paper submitted for publication as a protection against loss or damage. Galley proofs will be sent to the author(s) for proof reading before publication.

Scientia is an official publication of the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María. It was founded in 1934 and currently depends on the General Direction of Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the same University.
