Focus and Scope

Scientia. Series A: Mathematical Sciences publishes original research articles in all areas of pure and applied mathematics. The journal aims to promote the exchange of scientific knowledge in a wide range of mathematical disciplines, including but not limited to Complex Geometry, Real and Complex Analysis, Differential Equations, and Dynamical Systems.

Peer Review Policy

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process:

Open Access Policy

Scientia is an open access journal. All articles are freely available to readers without subscription or registration. The journal does not charge authors any submission, processing, or publication fees (APCs).

Plagiarism and Similarity Check Policy

All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using similarity detection software before the peer review process. Manuscripts with a similarity index above the acceptable threshold or containing evidence of plagiarism will be rejected. Self-plagiarism, redundant publication, and unethical practices are also considered misconduct.

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The journal adheres to the COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practices:

In cases of proven scientific misconduct (plagiarism, data fabrication, unethical practices), the journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions.

Archiving and Digital Preservation

The journal’s content is preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and may also be stored in the institutional repository of the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, ensuring long-term preservation and continued access.

Author Fees

This journal does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, processing, or publication.

Authors retain copyright of their published work. Articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
